We’re proud to have contributed to the ‘Lesser-known Foods of Sri Lanka’ campaign — an inspiring initiative celebrating Sri Lanka’s rich culinary heritage while promoting sustainability and energy efficiency.
Spectra Industries Holdings (Pvt) Ltd played a key role in this event by providing the Improved Biomass Cook Stove, a cleaner and more efficient cooking solution designed to reduce fuel consumption and emissions.
The campaign was a joint initiative by the Ministry of Environment, UNDP Sri Lanka, and WFP Sri Lanka, under the Early Action Support (EAS) project funded by the Global Environment Facility (GEF). It was successfully held on 10th March 2025 at Ape Gama, Battaramulla.
